Planet of Sound takes place every Friday in Club FX, (down the lane opposite Jury's Hotel on Washington Street, 5 minutes walk from the city centre)

Planet of Sound utilises 4 rooms within the Club FX complex:

Venue 1:- Alan Fadd & Emmett play a selection of Indie and Alternative tunes in the main room.

Venue 2:- Jenny Glitt spins Soul, Funk, Motown and D.I.S.C.O

Venue 3:- Hip-hop with various guest DJs.

Venue 4:- Live music with alternative bands.

We also have unbelievable drink promotions on the night!!!

Fosters .......... 2.5 euros
Vodka.............. 2 euros
Corona (bottle).... 2.5 euros
VHF Blue (a Smirnoff Ice type drink).......... 3 euros

There is also a happy hour up until 12.30 during which Black Russians, Sex On The Beach, Tequila Sunrise and Electric Strawberries are only 2.5 euros! (3.5 euros after 12.30)

Please note at present we have temporarily stopped our Hip-Hop room but hope to restart it very soon!

Entry is 6 euros (5 with concession and 4 with student I.D)
